Meriam re-arrested

We’ve received tragic and disturbing news this morning regarding the case of Meriam Ibrahim. Since our earlier update, Meriam and her entire family were re-arrested at the airport as they attempted to leave Sudan.

We will keep you updated with the latest news about Meriam and her family. Right now, please take a moment to pray for the safety of this Christian woman and her family.

As of right now, no further charges have been filed against her, so there is hope. If you or your friends have not yet signed the petition to Save Meriam, now is the time to do so!

Please forward the petition link to your friends and share it on Facebook so that the government of Sudan will again be flooded with messages of support for Meriam: http://citizengo.org/en/7415-save-meriam

In the meantime, we are working on arranging a meeting with the Ambassador of Sudan to the United Nations to discuss Meriam’s freedom and immediate release. Hopefully, we will be able to present at least 350,000 signatures supporting Meriam to the Ambassador at our meeting.

Thank you for your support!
